Followed Rated +16  https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B08XN92L6X/ref=atv_dp_share_cu_r David and his live--in girl friend record their cross-country trip from Chicago to Lis Angeles.  Along the    way they record a suspicious person following them.  They have som run--ins along the way, with the action culminating at a water park. The movie kept our attention because much of the action took place along Interstate 80 with many familiar landmarks, but even with familiar landmarks, my wife and we found ourselves losing interest.  It  was listed horror, but for much of the movie it was barely a thriller through much of it.   The end does payoff in the end with a real surprise ending. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.

What Makes a Book.Christian?

This comes from a part of a thread of a Twitter feed, in which someone asked what made a book Christian.  This is my response. Nature is glorious and dangerous.  Nature is not a god or gods. Humans are created in the image of their Creator.   Humans have a great deal of good and evil.   The world is built on natural laws.   There are moral absolutes.   There are sin and redemption.   There is a need for a sacrifice.  Forgiveness and restoration are possible.  God, the creator is in control. God will make all things new. Then you can add: Clean vocabulary  Limited violence and  Christian values and practices as the publisher desire them.   But it's better to just write good stories

Why Christian, Conservative Librarian?

The words, Christian, conservative librarian, do not seem  to go together.  I have worked as a para professional librarian for twenty years.   In that time, in my previous blogs, I have dipped my toe in Christian issues and conservative issues.  But want to do more than dip my toe in these issue. This blog is an opportunity to dialogue with Christian and conservative books and issues and how they relate to librarianship, library technology and information science.

Help my son wants to quit school to do Youtube

This is a question from Quora. My 16-year-old son dropped school for his YouTube channel (64 subscribers). How do I convince him to go back to school? I would suggest a little reality therapy.  Charge him rent for his room, meals, laundry service, and his percentage of the utilities, for as long as he's out of school. He can work some of that off by attending alternative high school.  Many school districts have these alternative options.  If your school district doesn't have some thing like this, then check with your public library or community colleges for GED prep classes.  He won't make enough on YouTube with only 64 subscribers.   He could work off more of his costs by taking GED prep tests and career aptitude tests by from companies like Learning Express and Gale's Testing and Educational Reference powered.   by Peterson's. This is not a bad deal.  Not all students do well in the typical high school.  But check with the teacher and/or the internet logs to make
